Anjali
Hello,
I’m an independent creator who loves turning simple, everyday materials into something unexpected.
I make a wide variety of handmade projects using materials such as cardboard, paper, clay, recycled containers, and other ordinary things that can be transformed with a little imagination.
Some of my projects are whimsical toys. Others become home décor, decorative objects, sculptures, or functional pieces. I enjoy moving between different materials and techniques rather than limiting myself to one particular kind of craft.
What interests me most is the creative challenge of taking something simple and asking:
What else could this become?
Sometimes that means carefully carving cardboard with an X-Acto knife. Other times it means sculpting, shaping, assembling, painting, or experimenting with materials until an idea takes form.
I also love seeing how a finished piece changes when it is placed in a room or presented in a particular way. So along with the making process, I share finished projects, styling ideas, and glimpses of how I create.
This website is a collection of my experiments, projects, and ideas , from small handmade objects to larger pieces all inspired by the simple pleasure of making something with my own hands.
I hope you find something here that makes you think:
“I never would have thought of making that.”
