Welcome to my creative space! When people first see my intricately carved, antique-style furniture, they often assume it is made of wood and bought from a store. But when they discover that the material I used was actually recycled cardboard, they are completely awe-struck! Still, it makes them wonder: why spend hours making it when you can just buy more durable wooden furniture?

For me, the answer is a beautiful mix of art, sustainability, and mindfulness.

1. The Ultimate Artistic Challenge

I am not a carpenter. I do not have a workbench, fancy carpentry equipment, or the technical knowledge to use them. But I do have a deep passion and love for carved furniture. In my opinion, its beauty is unmatched. So, I decided to overcome my shortcomings and use cardboard to achieve the results I dreamed of.

We can all walk into a store and buy a wooden table. But as an artist, my true joy comes from the transformation. I love taking a material that society views as worthless trash, a discarded cardboard box , and using my hands I elevate it into a luxury statement piece. The magic is in proving that beauty can be found anywhere, as long as you have the patience to carve it out.

2. A Commitment to Sustainable Design

Our world is full of waste. Millions of tons of shipping boxes get thrown away every single day. By turning these discarded materials into beautiful, functional home decor, I am giving them a second life. Upcycling cardboard into faux wood art is my way of keeping waste out of landfills and celebrating eco-friendly design.

3. A Daily Practice of Mindfulness

In a fast and loud world, my studio space is my sanctuary. Hand-carving these detailed lattice patterns is my favorite form of meditation. It requires total focus, which forces my brain to slow down, breathe, and find peace after a stressful day. I don’t make this furniture simply because I need a table; I make it because the quiet act of creation heals my spirit

Although making furniture is my passion I do not claim that everyone should do the same to help our planet Earth. Nor I claim, this is the only way to take care of your mental health. This is just my way and that is it!

Thank you for being here. I hope my furniture and room-styling inspire you to look at your own space differently, and give you the ideas you need to bring some warmth and excitement into a boring corner.
