Backstory
I had a collection of random materials gathering dust: some faux wood, a broken dish, and a pile of small craft mirrors. I knew I wanted to create a mosaic, but I wasn’t sure what the final form would be. I have always had a deep love for carved round tables; the kind with classic folding legs. As I kept thinking about the materials I had on hand and the timeless shape of those tables, an idea suddenly sparked in my mind.
Once the idea took hold, I dived into researching decorative leg styles and mosaic patterns online. I found the perfect inspiration for the legs, but when it came to the tabletop, I decided to trust my instincts and design a custom mandala pattern as I went.
The rest of the process felt like solving a beautiful puzzle; finding the exact right pieces and fixing them into the perfect spots. It turned out absolutely flawless! This folding table features a completely detachable top, meaning it can double as a stunning mirror mosaic art piece for the mantel or desk or a shelf. I am incredibly proud of how it came together.

Styling The Table
Because of its intricate design, this mosaic table is used mainly as a gorgeous display piece. I styled this corner by keeping lightweight items on top of the table to let the artwork shine. To complete the look, I placed elegant ceramic pots around the base to bring life and texture into the space. The brilliant mirror mosaic is the ultimate show-stopper, instantly turning a plain corner into a high-end design feature!
